From 2001 to 2005 he travels to European capitals
having contemporary dance classes and finishing his formation at London Contemporary Dance School.
After choreographing Tango for two and
To be digested in September 2006, he founded Codigo Dance Project, presenting Menu N5 in
The Palace Theatre, London.
Since then he has showed his work in several countries. |

In 2008 was awarded an Honour Prize at
12 Internationales Solo Tanz Theater Festival in Stuttgart and nominated for the Portuguese Talent 2008 in Performing Arts and Cinema.
Pedro Pires has collaborated as choreographer in many projects, such as those performed with the artistic company Cre.Art Project; the Opera Holland Park in collaboration with London City Orchestra; and also with the Gate Theatre from London.

PEDRO PIRES
was born in the town of Trás-os Montes, Portugal.
In 1995 studies Physics at Porto's University.
This humanity has too much science;
however, it will never have enough art!
Author of this thought, in 1998 he starts his artistic career, moving to study Theatre at the University
of Évora, where he discovers Dance.
